Dear Richard - your sharing touched my heart deeply - these things happen day-in, day-out in the various corners of the globe, but of course you feel it most of all, when it's in your own community. On the one hand it's tragic, and on the other, there's always a meaning and purpose - always the possibility for the soul to gain something, even though that's not immediately obvious on the surface.

The fact that you were there, holding a loving and supportive space counts volumes. And that you've been able to integrate the process speaks volumes for where you're at. Do indeed tune into the retreat, let the grace and softness of the divine mother hold you - do be sure to let the emotions flow, that's essential too.
