I feel a representation of the earth and the sun and the galactic core. A sense of wheels within wheels turning in ways we can't imagine unfolding an intricate path to Enlightenment; represented by the Lotus round the outside. I also get a sense of merging into the ocean of everything from that outer ring.

Kind of the warning of the writing on the wall and the reassurance of a higher path through it all.
