Hi Open,
I for one am all for this practice. I recently had a profound experience when a bout of pancreatitis forced me to greatly reduce my intake for a week. I felt clearer, steadier, calmer, more focussed. Less anxious and able to be more present with others. I felt lighter and freer. It felt so good. But Ive since come back to poor habits from unresolved emotional issues. Luckily my body cant tolerate what it used to and the simple motivation of not wanting to feel terrible is coming to the fore. The only thing for me is doing too much all at once, especially since my particular circumstance at this time is one of needing to rebuild and repair from years of damage and burnout. Having a sluggish digestion means I'll probably have to extend the time a bit, maybe to 8 hours instead of 6, but i feel like it would be such a boon to my eroded inflamed guts to give her a daily rest this way. Just the thing i needed to be reminded of, thank you!🙏💙barb
