I have invested some in Eth and only recently I learned that Indian govt charged a massive 30 percent tax on crypto profits. So yes, I believe the shadow state is trying to close the crypto down. But this also stops me from investing further. I can also see that we have to look long terms and not at short term profits and maybe 5 or 10 years down the line, this will be a different story.
