Since the completion of our amazing pilgrimage to India, people in the community have been inquiring how they can best travel to La Palma for the New Year retreat there. So here are a few pointers...

1) La Palma has its own International airport called, La Palma de Santa Cruz.
2) If you're flying from the USA, a good route is to travel to London Gatwick and pick up Easyjet from there, which does a return direct flight that is quite reasonable - but do book early as they tend to book out
3) If number 2 is not available above, then you can fly via Tenerife in the Canary Islands. There's a connecting flight from Tenerife North terminal with Binter Airlines. If your flight goes to Tenerife South, then you can get the regular bus to the north terminal, which takes around an hour to travel (but allow 2hrs to make the connection)
4) There are European connections too, via Iberian through Spain, and plenty through Germany.
5) There is also a ferry from Tenerife South to La Palma, which takes 4hrs, but then also ensures a pleasant cruise in the Med - something to consider.

From the airport on La Palma, we'll be arranging lifts to the retreat centre.

So there are plenty of options making it accessible for getting there. Tilly has a collated list of all the possibilities - so do contact her if you have any inquiries... contact Tilly
