For me, there are still moments when an unexpected trigger arises and there is some holding on to the previous expected plans. But I am step by step getting closer to just accept the present moment as it unfolds now and getting into processing any pain right in that moment without any delays. After the trigger happens, the previously planned thing suddenly feels 'off' and I am noticing how more and more there is only one right thing to do - just go and work with it right away. Even distractions are starting to look ridiculous at these moments but there is still work there.

What I would like to inquire about is mental tightness. This morning I felt a lot of it - constant jumping into thoughts and plans about today, overthinking, being bombarded with random thoughts... I was meditating with it and trying to settle more into presence but it was really difficult with all the thoughts. So I have been wondering how is it possible to express and animate mental tightness specifically? With physical and emotional tightness it is quite understandable for me but as mental is much lighter it's harder to grasp. And when I am processing, the mind often comes to take me out of uncomfortable feelings of the moment, so that's not really helpful. Therefore when processing, it often is working with the mind first and only then getting to the topic itself.

I would be curious about any reflection, Open. Thank you.
