Hi Open,

I really loved this article and found it especially poignant as I had an animal encounter just yesterday.

As I was out walking with my dog along a pathway, I saw a cat that had hold of something on the path leading off from the one I was walking.

The dog barked at the cat who then let go of its soon-to-be kill. It was a pigeon who hastily flew off into the trees, as the cat trotted off along its path.

The article refers to a metaphorical path but given that I saw this on a literal path, its speaking to me on a level that I haven’t been able to access and therefore interpret yet. A few ideas around it have come to mind but nothing feels as though it’s hit the meaning of it yet.
