5D Shift: Baptism of Fire as we Birth The New Reality
2025 has been billed as "The Year of Acceleration" regarding planetary consciousness. Everything that is of the old karmic construct will be directly challenged as the balance of consciousness vibrates faster. For the new to be reborn, the old must first shatter and break down. Consequently, in the early hours of the New Year, there have been several seismic events to pay attention to. We must see the connection, and take ownership, so as to be compelled on our deepening journey inwards.
Mechanism of the Great Shift
Many have been speaking of the Great Shift for decades now. But it's never really been clear how it would unfold - by what mechanism and process?
Some glibly say: "We'll all collectively raise vibration into 5D". But to me, that's naive and blinkered. For anyone working in the space of the spiritual evolutionary process, you'll know there's a Gordian knot of karmic entanglement, and soul contracts, for people to unravel out of. Which, only a planetary handful have actually begun. That's before we get to how the Intervention has purposefully skewed the planetary grid, so as to ensnare and extract energy from it.
Not everyone is ready. Most are not even seeing the real causality behind the seismic shifts now underway. And that's entirely okay. The proof of previous shifts, in previous constellations and galaxies, is that they happen in waves. Those who've embraced the inner work, and taken ownership of their creative process, are ready to unravel through the Gateways. Others will do so in their time, during some other shift, somewhere else.

Baptism of Fire
Let's consider for a moment an alternative view of the catastrophic fires in California. My heart absolutely goes out to anyone caught up in it, whose experienced the devastation of their homes and livelihoods. You are not alone - many around the world are sending their love and prayers. I trust the practical resources and support will follow. ❤️🙏
It's essential to consider what the Universe is reflecting to us, by such Earth-shattering events. Not only in California, but others that have also occurred in these early hours of 2025: We've seen a Tsunami come ashore north of Lake Titicaca in Peru, the sacral chakra of the planet; we've witnessed a shattering earthquake at Mount Everest, holding the crown chakra; then there's the erupting mud volcano in Ethiopia, in the Cradle of Humanity. When you connect the dots, a powerful message is being triggered.
It's my knowing that the Shift has taken a dramatic acceleration, that's happened through the birthing of new, stronger, and more exuberant, planetary energies. To be clear, they're not vengeful in any way. But they're acting with urgency to awaken the planet from its Simulation slumber - which I've shared and expressed here...
AVALONIA: Birthing the Golden Age
Stay with me, because especially for the California fires, there are rafts of counter viewpoints, understandable anger, and projection. As hard as it understandably is, we must work to penetrate through all emotionality, to get to the much bigger picture.
I put it to you, what's catalysed and precipitated this general dramatic movement of energy, has been the collective suffering of the planetary Devas. These are the angelic souls, holding the collectivised consciousness for each species of fauna and flora of the planet - countless billions of them.
In the past 10 years alone, over 200 species of creature have been wiped from the 3D, each and every single day, where the usual background rate is only 10-100 species going extinct each year. That's an exponential tsunami. Due to the day-to-day mercyless exploitation of the planet, which we accept as 'normality', 70% of the natural ecosystems are gone. Obliterated. In my knowing, they are now at the point of terminal collapse, that risks leading to a dead planet. It is all, of course, generated by an Interdimensional Intervention, hell-bent on exploiting the Earth, its people, and the resources, whatever the cost. It's bleeding the naturalness of the planet dry.
The answer is resurrection from this catastrophic madness, and a regeneration of life in a higher vibrational pardigm - that in 5D/6D/7D. That's how we escape the planetary Simulation.
In connecting with various layers of this shadow, working to understand what they're about, actually it's quite simple: "Total dominion of the planet and all life upon it." To that end, they've been rapidly stripping the Earth of its naturalness, so that the Torus Flower of Life cannot keep re-establishing itself. They're plunging society rapidly into an AI-enhanced Simulation, with the juice of the apple bled dry.
Many have been caught up in this bubble of collective amnesia - caused by the blinding veils the Intervention has drawn over the psyche. We must begin to appreciate, we cannot continue to divorce ourselves, our souls, from this Flower of Life naturalness, that is now compelling us toward the Grand Galactic Convergence - a Great Realignment, that is knocking down the door.
We cannot continue to stamp our lives, our desires and ambitions, our structures, across the naturalness of the Earth, and not expect, that via some particular mechanism, it won't react. The collective consciousness, particularly of the planetary Devas that hold the balance of life, and its suffering, now yearns to emerge from this dungeon of disconnect.
Understand The Grand Galactic Convergence
What's Your Greater Role in All of This?
This convergence is going to precipitate powerful confrontations with reality:
What's really real?
What's actually going on?
What's of greatest importance?
What's your greater role in it all?
What this all means going forward, is that we're going to witness seismic ructions with ever-increasing regularity as we venture forward. They will become a common place occurrence in the planetary landscape. It's happening because the new vibrational state of the planet is now breaking down the old karmic construct, so as to make way for the emergence of a purified Earth in 5D/6D/7D.
No doubt, as has been their way, the Intervention will effort, tooth and claw, to hold the reins in this dramatic rodeo ride just as long as they can. They'll skew the truth of events this way and that, manipulating the narrative, so as to keep people blinded - locked in the polarity of projection and blame, grasping for the reason and the causality somewhere 'out there'.
The real invitation is to explore, yes, but then ask the essential question: what is this now revealing and inviting in me? What's the bigger picture? What's the underlying movement of the planetary consciousness and where is it now urging me? Compelling me?
You are not physical. You are not even human - that's merely a hat and coat we wear. You are a soul, that's journeyed through countless incarnations. And will, no doubt, journey through countless more.
Where dramatic events and circumstances unfold, like this plethora of exploding volcanoes, earthquakes and devastating fires, the crucial thing is to do is to feel into them, see where your own tightness is, and then work to unravel out. In which case, you'll gain greatly from each and every event that is set to unfold.
No doubt the situations and circumstances will be manipulated, this way and that, by the nefarious shadow to keep people pointing the finger of blame 'out there'. But this is counterproductive. Because it fixes you in relationship to what you are judging. As opposed to saying...
"What can I learn from it?"
No One Comes Through this in 3D
Maybe you've lost your home. My heart goes out to you - I know what that feels like.
Maybe you've lost loved ones. I'm with you - it's happened to me plenty aswell.
Not in any way to diminish those feelings, here's my compassionate calling:
We must evolve and grow with these catastrophes, through them. No one comes out of this Shift in the 3D. The converging events now set to unfold, will cleanse the planet in the 3D completely. It's what the Hopi spoke of as, "The Great Purification". It's where we're regaining our inherent divinity, resurrecting it, before then emerging into the Golden Age of 5D/6D/7D.
That possibility is open to all. However, as yet, very few are embracing it. Because the majority, when confronted with these bone-crunching events are searching for a scapegoat, where to point the finger of blame. It's entirely understandable. My heart goes out to anyone caught up in that. But to honour what has happened to you, to actually gain something worthwhile from the catastrophe, we must work to take the view from the bigger picture:
Everything, at the 3D level, will come to pass in years few.
Through perhaps as little as a 10-year timeline.
That is my distinct feeling.
Your Essential Orientation
What's essential now, is that each who wants to emerge through all of this, takes ownership of everything that transpires in your outer reality, and then forge the inner process-mechanism, that can help you unwind through it. To emerge from it.
That must now become the daily practice and orientation of our lives. In which case, each seismic event will present an enormous opportunity of unfolding and Evolutionary Ascension. You'll have the capacity to grow and expand through it.
This will put you in the driving seat of your Shift - the Master of it, not the victim. That is my heartfelt calling for all with the eyes to see, and ears to hear. Let's take ownership of our process right now, and work singularly on our emergence out.

Open, you suggested asking what's your greater role in all of this? But this concept always confuses me. The idea that "I" have a role to play or purpose to fulfill feels like it comes from the ego.
To me, it feels like if I want to do or accomplish something, that's a fixed goal that I have to intention to achieve. And as far as I'm aware, that sort of focus comes from the ego, not the soul.
On the other hand, I agree with your suggestion that the purpose of life is really just "the process". Which, as I understand it, is essentially the process of resolving karma and allowing your soul to come through and express itself.
But... doesn't that expression change in every moment? And if it's constantly changing, how can anyone say they have a specific purpose in this life? Or like you said in the article, a greater role in all of this?
Wouldn't any perceived "purpose" also change in every moment?

Hi Zoe - the ego is a tricky beast! It functions on either side of the expression and pathway.
So yes, to try to change the bigger picture in a way that is personally desirable is likely coming from the ego. Yet we each also have a role to play in the grand mosaic of life. And when you consider the Flower of Life, how it all interrelates, then the moving flow is inviting me to step into the greater possibility. But this only becomes possible if you've stripped back individual ego.
What I feel in your words, is a reticence to step into this greater power - which would also be ego.
Does the process change in every moment? Does the goal change in every moment? Yes, and no!
Any given Torus is working to iterate the next grandest version of itself. Which will manifest things on the surface of reality. And will appear as 'goals' to actualise. But think of something coming to fruition - like an apple on a tree, as it moves from spring to summer. The apple is constantly shifting and growing, constantly iterating until you get the finished item. But from very early on, you know it's an apple.
The quantum field is like this in all aspects of it - and how we create things from it. Of course most people have no idea that reality is creating this way, because they're not consciously co-creating with the flow. They keep stepping out of it into personal intention and goals.
The more you're able to be in the quantum field of creation, felt as rightness coming through you, the more you realise your interplay with your own Torus, and then others in the wider field.

Great discussion this is! I feel our interrelation with the wider field happens through the minutiae of interaction we have in our personal lives. The flow invites me to step into a goal or objective. I know what I’m stepping toward, and I have an idea of what the outcome could be. Yet, if I fixate on that particular outcome, it could be called attachment, which would subsequently lead to all kinds of distortions, such as the mind owning it, overthinking, grasping for it, or rejecting it.
But what if I could play it like a game and rejoice in the game itself? There is a lot of trust in working this way because it allows us to embrace any outcome the flow manifests through this process. There is no hurrying and no dwadling. In this process, there is a wider peripheral vision: what is the process really inviting me to see? What is the bigger picture of this process? It likely involves working on any attachments in the mental and emotional planes. The more I work on it, the more the flow strengthens and aligns itself.
The peripheral vision looks at synchronicity—is it flowing? Is there a sense of rightness in the steps I’m taking? When synchronicities click, there is joy—a recognition of the wider process. If other people are involved, it would also likely invite them into a process of self-realization, provided they are open to owning and working with it. The more I work on this process, the more it feels like a game rather than something requiring effort.

Thank you, Open, for providing such a clear explanation/resonance for what I have been feeling since just before the New Year. Over the last few weeks, reading your words and everyone’s reactions/impressions has been very helpful in understanding the new sense of freshness, renewal and acceleration I have been experiencing.
This piece is meant to represent the emergence of Avalonia through the scorched Earth. It is rebirth after a cleansing fire. It is 5D human collective consciousness elevating from the ashes of our expiring 3D society. It is the birth of the Golden Age. And it is my own individual 5D consciousness emerging from the rubbles of karma…

What about the Children in the Shift?

When I speak about the closing time frame for the Shift now, as things accelerate, often the question asked (understandably by parents) is: "What about my children? Because they'll not likely have time to prepare. Why should they suffer?"
This is where we need to expand wide open hearts, and also the meaning of, "My Children".
Because right now, the suffering and slaughtering of children, by this rabid Simulation we're in, is actually endemic - it's systemic. Probably one of the largest 'industries' out there is child sex trafficking. Then there's the systemic obliteration of homes, families, and children that's been ongoing in Palestine, for example. Or the Ukraine, or other war-torn areas - where it's 'our' tax dollars that are being used.
When will the collective stand up and say, "No more!!"
Humanity has collective amnesia, and a highly skewed value system: "As long as it's happening to those children over there, and not mine, then I'll turn a blind eye and keep getting on with the day job. Just as long as everything is okay for us."
There's the collective problem. And why the Intervention has been so effective.
What's needed is collective non-acquiescence. Humanity needs to discover the courage to stand up and say, "No more. I won't turn a blind eye to what's happening with the children, or the ecosystems, or the skewed financial systems that needlessly impoverish and kill people systematically, every single day."
On the one hand awakening people will say, "We're all one". But then so easily turn a blind eye to what's happening 'over there'. Yes, we are in a collective agreement - what happens 'over there' is also happening to you and me, within our consciousness to some degree.
The system is broken. Cancerous and morally decrepit. It needs to go. The whole lot of it. And the sooner the better. So as to ease the collective suffering.
This is why I keep on saying "We must realign our orientation and focus toward the Shift". Because when we do that, then we can help each other to prepare. It all too often still falls on deaf ears - people go back to the day job, which keeps on reinforcing the system of exploitation.
I do understand the challenges - we all have bills to pay. But we must then accept the consequences of our actions - what we give our energies to. When enough people say, "No more", then we'll get something different. But it takes brave and courageous souls to begin that process.
Everyone passes on. And the volcano or the earthquake does not respect age. We must overcome our fears of death, and teach others about Resurrection and Reincarnation. That the life of the soul goes on, and we are that. It's time we started having these kinds of conversations in ways that all can understand.
What you do in life then becomes far more important than living a lesser life in fear of death.
What you do in this life, or don't do, carries over into the next one. It's all you will take with you.
I would also say to you that souls who've recently incarnated here (now children), are often highly travelled souls who came especially because of the Shift - because there are massive amounts to gain from it.
All too often, it's the fears of the parents that get projected onto them, and energetically inculcated in them.
So, let's expand our hearts from the limitation of "Our Children", to "All Children". Including those other ones of the animal kingdoms whose suffering this system is founded upon.
The process of emergence has begun. Let's help people gain a wider understanding of what "Resurrection" really means. Of course, it was never about just one man - which was just another blatant attempt, by the Intervention, to steal that destiny from us.
Resurrection is open and possible for everyone. We just need to understand, and integrate, what it actually means. Hence Openhand's work here.

I've been feeling a lot as a of late, many different things swirling around internally. The noise is getting so loud that it's impossible to ignore anymore. The mind softening after many years of intellectualizing, justifying and rationalizing. Things are now beginning to land within the body with greater awareness, a sense of knowingness. It still feels overwhelming at times especially if my mind grabs a hold of this new awareness landing.
One of the things that comes up for me is that I have 4 young daughters, what about them in all of this? To me it's another layer of inner exploration. The being knows that there is no figuring this out in the mind. What initially comes up is this overwhelming and all-consuming grief. I feel it all over my body and my being reverts back to old trauma response of freeze and fawn. For some reason this exploration seems different this time around. My higher mind and soul are speaking loudly, you know what you need to do. The lower self is fighting but it feels different this time around. There is an internal softening and letting go happening.
When I reflect upon the fires in California, they symbolize an internal fire happening. It's as if anything that isn't aligned with soul is being burned away. Creating space for the more aligned divine aspects of us to emerge out. These internal fires are impossible to ignore anymore. We all have these fires burning inside and I feel it is up to us to feel into what they speak of.
As far as the volcanoes and earthquakes go. I feel they are just reminding us that it's time to awaken and emerge out! We can only put a cap on our souls for long before it erupts out. No longer bury the head in the sand, no more mental maturbation. The mind doesn't have the answers to this Shift. Even though at times it desperately wants to make sense of it all, the soul knows.
I went for a walk in the early hours of the morning, it was cold and windy here in Milwaukee. A block into the walk the mind was chatting and telling me to head back and go jump back in that warm cozy bed. I listened to the wind, and it gave me strength to continue. I got to my first fork in the road, go straight and you'll be out of the cold wind or turn right and you'll be walking right into the cold wind. I knew this time around, there is no more time to dance around what is. I turned right and walked right into the wind; it was only a matter of moments before I equalized with my choice. At one point along my walk a door slammed open and made a big noise, it startled me, and I felt to go check it out. It was a door to a daycare and the door was wide open. I looked at the door and it had the number 3 on it, I ended up shutting the door. I thought about what that might be speaking of to me and more current unfolding. It feels like it has to do with Gateway 3 for me. Without trying to intellectualize that or put it into words here, I'm just going to hold it internally. It does speak loudly to what I'm experiencing at the moment. It feels like this dissolving and letting go process, I'm melting into space. The word disorientation just came up for me as I write these words, it's funny because on my walk I got disorientated and a bit lost, but I eventually found my way HOME.
Lastly, I pulled a rock from my bag of rocks before I went on my walk. I wrote many different words on these rocks, and I use them for guidance as I go about my days. The rock that I pulled today was Devotion.
