Have you ever had so many ideas flowing through you that you could hardly keep up with them all? ✨

Lately, this has been my experience with creativity. I have quite a few projects in progress, and none of them are abandoned. I'm simply working on them in an alternating order, following whichever one is calling for my attention at a particular moment. It's like catching all those balls that you're juggling, and each of them can remain in your hand only for a certain time, as you watch the next landing, and the next.

That's the fascinating thing about opening yourself to the creative flow. Ideas and inspirations begin to arrive, sometimes faster than you can bring them into form. I sometimes wonder whether they really are already somewhere in the quantum field, waiting to be picked up by someone receptive enough to notice them. I certainly find it fascinating to experience how an idea can appear almost out of nowhere, carrying an energy that makes you want to explore it.

And then comes the interesting part: bringing something that exists as a feeling, a vision, or a possibility into our very tangible 3D world. There seems to be a rather significant difference in speed between the two! 😄 The challenge is that life on the 3D plane seems to move so much slower than the flow of ideas – before you manage to finish one project, the next is already landing!

Perhaps that's where commitment comes in. Not to control the creative flow or force it into a plan, but to stay with an inspiration long enough to give it form, while remaining open to whatever comes next. It's a balancing act between receiving and creating, allowing and doing.

My new video is a little example of this process.

It began with a spontaneous, free-wheeling walk. I took my camera with me, as I often do, without any plan to make a video. I wasn't thinking about a subject, a story, or what I might need to film. I simply followed the feeling and recorded whatever caught my attention.

Only later, when I revisited the footage, did I begin to see what was emerging. The path, the rocks, the cliffs, the landscape, and the horizon gradually came together as a metaphor for our journey through life. What had started as a walk had become something with a story to tell and to share with others.

And this is one of the things I love most about the creative process:

Sometimes, we don't know what we're creating until we've created it.

The meaning doesn't always precede the work. Sometimes it reveals itself through the work. We begin with curiosity, follow an impulse, make a few unexpected turns, and discover connections we couldn't have planned.

This is also why I try not to decide too early what something should become. Whether I'm painting, filming, or exploring another creative idea, I want to leave enough space for the work to surprise me.

So, this time, a spontaneous walk became a video. 🌿

I'm sharing it with you today, both as a finished piece and as a small glimpse into the way something can emerge when we allow ourselves to follow the creative flow.

I hope you'll enjoy watching it, as well as the landscape views from the Isle of Man and Lake Titicaca in Peru.
