Yes, definitely, Volcanoes are about releasing and therefore equalising pressure build ups in the Earth's magma reservoirs - I would also say they help as the energy core shifts to a faster vibration for Earth. Each one would have a sentience, yes. And yes, of course they could carry karma too - guilt, perhaps.

After an eruption and the transmutation of karmic density and energies, they release plasma beings into that location - first density, yet in a fluid form that can succeed in the heat and pressure.
