Here's another Sprite photo taken on August 25th in China: https://spaceweathergallery.com/indiv_upload.php?upload_id=155706.

Apparently it is an extremely rare blue jet (Gigantic Jet) and they are much more rare than Sprites and remain for longer so can be seen by the naked eye. It was taken post-typhoon storms.
